It has been such a productive, creative season here in the studio. The children enrolled in after school art have been busy enlarging a tiny object of their choice into a work of art almost larger than themselves. In an age of instant gratification, it has been wonderful to see them beginning to enjoy the rewards for their own patience and persistence. Social art nights have become a weekly event. A still life is a colourful and challenging subject, and is a great chance for students to get out of their comfort zones. Well done the lovely women who attempted this arrangement! Looking forward to a creative Springtime with current students! And for those of you that are thinking about coming along.. join us this Spring. What a great time of year to start something new.
