A social morning of art. Work on your own projects with a little guidance provided if you like! Not sure where to start? We will help you get your teeth into a project that you can lose yourself in.
Use the studio as your own. Lots of art materials at your disposal.. curl up on the sofa and pour through the art books for inspiration. Spend the morning away from housework or any other care. Draw or paint..chat, drink coffee, and get inspired by others. This is a group where your starting skill level is not important. It's building up the 'brush mileage' and being open to new possibilities. Kick start your artistic journey and join us. A supportive environment. After 3 creative and vibrant years in Lambton, The Art House is moving to sunny New Lambton for the next chapter. We are now known as Art House Studios. Stay tuned for details over the next week!
Families and friends of our after school artists came to celebrate here at the studio last week. Over 200 works on display, and approximately as many people came to check them out! Thanks for coming, if you missed it, make sure you come along to the next one this December. * Final year exhibition details released end of term 3.  THANK YOU to all of the students, parents, grandparents and friends that came along to our End of Year Exhibition 2015. What a super talented bunch of artists I am lucky to work with each week. Golden Palette Awards were handed out on the evening to every after school artist. For all the children that couldn't make it, your artworks and your award are here ready for you to pick up any time this Summer Holiday. AuthorPriya is an artist who lives in the creative, coastal city of Newcastle, Australia. As a teacher (B.Ed), business owner and mother of a delightful teen, she is most passionate about living a happy, creative life. Since opening her art studio to the public in 2013, a growing community of people have had the opportunity to infuse creativity into their lives by attending social nights, classes and workshops. Offering drawing, painting and modelling classes, Priya draws upon over 20 years of experience teaching adults and children in NSW, Victoria and Japan. She finds it a rewarding process to improve her students' skills and confidence by tailoring instruction to their individual needs. Archives
